Dulynn Hastings, M.D.
Dr. Dulynn Hastings was born and raised in Nevada. He is a third generation Nevadan and he has lived in Nevada most all of his life.
Dr. Hastings earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biology and earned a Masters degree in Respiratory Physiology at the University of Nevada Las Vegas before moving to Reno to attend Medical School. After completing medicalschool, he attended one of the top Family Medicine residencies at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ.
Dr. Hastings is Board Certified by the American Academy of Family Physicians. He is also certified in Occupational Medicine, and as a Medical Review Officer. He also has been a volunteer Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Nevada, School of Medicine since 2003. Dr. Hastings is a member of the Washoe County Medical Society, The Nevada State Medical Society and the American Academy of Family Physicians. In 2008, Dr. Hastings was rated as one of the top 100 Family Physicians in the country.
Dr. Hastings has been married to the love of his life, Becky, since 2002 and has two sons, Tom and Alex. He and his family enjoy camping, hiking, fishing, and most other outdoor activities.
Donald VanDyken, M.D. 03/28/1951 - 01/30/2012
Dr. Donald VanDyken founded Acadia Medical Group in 1987 in Reno. He was originally from the South side of Chicago.
Dr. VanDyken graduated from Hope College in Holland Michigan, Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit Michigan, and completed his Family Medicine residency at Providence Hospital in Southfield Michigan.

Katie Lydon, A.P.N.
Katie Lydon, Family Nurse Practitioner, has lived in Reno for over 20 years. She earned a BSN-RN degree in Cleveland Ohio, and a Masters of Nursing degree at the University of California, San Francisco. Katie worked on a step down unit as an R.N. and Clinical Nurse Specialist at U.C.S.F. She spent 3 years in Tennessee and headed up the nursing staff at an inpatient/out- patient Cancer Center. Katie received a post Masters Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Nevada, Reno and joined the practice in 2006. She is a member of various professional nursing organizations and is Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. When not working she enjoys outdoor activities (skiing and tennis), and keeping up with her family of five teenagers.
